Ms. Nappinai has litigation and transactional expertise in the areas of:
- Investment finance;
- Technology law;
- Corporate, commercial and cross border transactions & litigation;
- Intellectual property rights (IPR);
- Corporate criminal & cyber crime law;
- Arbitration & mediation;
- Legal consultancy in all the above fields.
Ms. Nappinai moved to Mumbai in 2000 and joined the law firm of Amarchand Mangaldas, where she specialized in corporate finance and cross-border commercial transactions, IPR, and Information Technology Law.
Ms. Nappinai is a founding member of the Technology Law Forum (TLF), a non-profit organization involved in research & education in the area of technology law. As a representative of TLF, Ms. Nappinai has spearheaded and driven several initiatives with various industry organizations and bodies including NASSCOM, FICCI, and IMC, etc. She has also conducted several workshops and training sessions.
Ms. Nappinai is also ardently involved in several initiatives in the field of Alternate Dispute Resolution. Ms. Nappinai is a trained mediator and is a member of the first panel of Mediators of the High Court at Bombay and has also completed the Advanced Mediation certification program of the World Intellectual Property Rights Organization (WIPO).
Ms. Nappinai completed her undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Madras in 1991 and her postgraduate degree from the University of Pune in 2004.
