Avinash is currently a Director, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Delivery at MIEL e-Security Pvt. Ltd., a well known information security company in India. He is responsible for execution of major information security implementation and auditing projects. He has executed project for top banks, financial institutions, stock exchange, depositories, major BPOs and software houses.
Preious jobs held by Avinash were as COO of a major software development organization, CIO of largest pharmaceutical company, General Manager I.T. of one of the largest Indian manufacturing company and Scientific Officer with Atomic Research Center. Avinash is also a reputed trainer for information security and audit. He has trained over 5000 professionals, conducted training for more than 400 corporate and given many public seminars worldwide. He is frequently invited to speak at major conferences.
Apart from Lead Instructor with ISC2 for CISSP course, he is also a Lead Instructor for ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Course and a very popular instructor of CISA and CISM courses. He is the designer of the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Course which has been approved by IRCA (International Register for Certified Auditors).
Apart from the various certifications Avinash holds, he also has degrees in Mechanical and Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering and Masters in Financial Management.
